My Journey
I have been working with young children and their families for over 20 years. I got started as a classroom teacher, then decided to go back to school to get a master’s degree in Psychology with a Specialization in Child and Adolescent Development.
Since earning my MS, I became certified as an Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist and have been working with parents and families in infant mental health and as early intervention specialist. I am always looking to improve my skill set to be able to better support families.
I am certified in a variety of approaches including DIRFloortime®, Touchpoints, Infant Mental Health, Trauma Informed Behavioral Parenting, Infant and Family Sleep, Breastfeeding Education, as a Meditation Teacher.

My Approach
I use an attachment-based approach to interactions and methods that I teach and recommend to families. While working on overall development or sleep, the child/caregiver relationship will always be important. I am on a mission to help families find strategies to strengthen their bonds, promote developmental milestones, and biologically normal sleep without tears or emotional distress for caregiver or child.
By following biological norms, we want to support appropriate naps and a smooth bedtime for children birth through five. Our meditation and yoga nidra techniques allow parents and caregivers to unwind for peaceful sleep as well.
We want families to understand brain development and know that it is okay for babies to wake during the night and it’s okay for parents to parent during the night; but also have a smooth transition back to sleep after needs are met. We will not have a one size fits all solution; every family is different and has their own specific needs.
