child_friendly Breastfeeding Education

While the #1 concern for new parents is sleep, eating/feeding runs a very close second!

We know that FED is best, but there are some resounding benefits to breastfeeding that we’d like to share with you. This class is designed to set up healthy expectations and habits surrounding breastfeeding. Using evidence based research, we have created an educational program that will help parents understand common breastfeeding concerns, for both parent and baby, and how to overcome those. We will also cover nursing positions and latch (it should NOT be painful!); appropriate feeding amounts and how to know if your baby is getting enough; what to do when you have to be away, expression of milk and storage guidelines; and how breastfeeding supports better sleep!

We want to share with parents how different breastfeeding is compared to formula fed and all the wonderful benefits associated with it, so that you feel confident with your feeding choices.
